We have built a solid reputation since 2003 with a track record of delivering service from arrival to departure and long-established relationships with hotels, boat, rafting and canopy tours operators  to give the best travel service ever in Costa Rica.

Rigoberto Hernández

Rigoberto Hernàndez is major in busssiness management and ecological tourism. He  worked in different projects and positions in the travel industry since 1998. He is a enterprenour. He is been involved in different  sucessful companies as a shareholder where  he also helped to develop all facets of  micro enterprises.
He co-founded 3 Monkies Tours Costa Rica in 2003. He combined experience, knowledge with  dedication and passion to develop a strong structure in our company.


Presently, he oversees management and  marketing . He thinks, " a solid dream comes true when you believe and when you got the tools… we got both of them".

Operations  and Product Director
Alejandro Vargas

Alejandro Vargas Quesada is a co-founder of 3 Monkies Tours Costa Rica. He studied tourism, hotel management and english education. He got involved in travel industry in 1991 as a volunteer tour guide in national parks and national forest reserves. In 1993, he started to lead tours all over Costa Rica.


In 1995, he moved to Liberia and became one of the first professional tour guides based in the area. In 2003, he joined Rigoberto and Minor, and founded 3 Monkies Tours Costa Rica determined to shared his experience, knowledge, enthusiasm and strong respect for nature.  In 2006, as the company grew, he moved to his new position as operations and product director where he designs and develops most of our packages and new products.   He is proud of our company high standards of quality, values, personal attention, friendliness and dedication to make one thing exceptionally well.... to make our experience .....your unforgettable experience.

Tour Director and Tour Guides Supervisor
Minor Cascante

Minor Cascaste is major in ecological tourism. In 1994, he got involved in tourism working as a tour guide and leading tours all over the country. He studied and work in United States where he gained more international experience. He has also shared his  efforts with local conservationist associations in our country. 


He co-founded 3 Monkies Tours Costa Rica in 2003 and  became a very important support in our company’s daily operation. Thanks to his dedication, knowledge and  friendly attitude  on the guiding field Minor is one of  the best  senior tour guides you can ever experience in Costa Rica.


Nowdays, he trains and oversees our tour guiding team, but of course, he still does what he loves to do....to show and share our beautiful country.
